Rising Spindle Gate Valve
AVK’s flanged gate valve, short face-to-face, OS&Y with handwheel, for drinking water and neutral liquids to max. 70°C. For AS/NZS 4020 compliance, max temp 40°C.
Ductile iron wedge fully vulcanized with drinking water approved EPDM, and fitted with polyamide wedge shoes to provide smooth operation.
Outside yoke and rising stem for clear indication of valve status at a distance.

Counter bored stainless steel bonnet bolts sealed with hot melt glue and integral o-rings of the bonnet gasket
Round bonnet gasket fixed in a recess to prevent blow out under pressure
AVK gate valves are designed with built-in safety in every detail. The wedge is fully vulcanized with AVK’s own drinking water approved EPDM rubber compound. It features an outstanding durability due to the ability of the rubber to regain its original shape, the double bonding vulcanization process and the sturdy wedge design. The triple safety stem sealing system, the high strength stem and the thorough corrosion protection safeguard the valves unmatched reliability.
